WELL. I changed the title.
Day well spent.
So, I'm done, it finally came together. The shading was more defined in my head, but I suppose I'm not that good yet. I'm not even sure you can tell that's a river she's in, looks like a pond D: Ah well, I suppose I can do better next time.

I tried a new lineless style, and I have to say, I like this one better than the smudge tecnique. :) Another thing I liked was how the paw and the tail went into the water, it definately came out better than expected >w<

The butterflies were a last- minute touch as I rememberd to draw them. I also worked on the shading a bit, actually more the lighting, and I think the shine I gave to the picture is pretty good, too :) I'll probably do that next time I make a bg.

I had a bit of trouble with the brush tool, but it came out fine. The sketch was fairly easy, I did it with a pencil and a piece of paper. I prefer it that way because it's more stable than a slick tablet. I wasn't intending the cattail, but I think it looks good~ I should've added the roots I was planning on the left, but I figured it was good enough. :P
Overall, though, I fairly like this bit of art ^^ As soon as I heard this:[link] I KNEW what to draw :meow: So, like 24% of users on DA, I'm inspired by music ~
